The journey began with the creation of the YouTube channel HoonTV in 2010, where Mark brought motorsport and car culture to life, showcasing his knack for storytelling. After completing his qualifications as a motor mechanic IN 1998, Mark made a dynamic transition into media, eventually becoming a producer, cameraman, and editor for motorsport television for the past 15 years. This career, filled with early mornings and the need for the perfect fuel, sparked Mark’s quest for exceptional coffee.

Having tasted both the sublime and the subpar, he envisioned Hoon Coffee as a brand that would reflect his high standards and love for quality brews. To bring this vision to reality, Mark teamed up with his friend, Billy Papas, from Patio Coffee. Together, they spent over a year crafting a selection of unique blends designed to match Mark's "crazy ideas."

With Mark's extensive media expertise and Billy's profound knowledge of coffee roasting for the past 28 years, the duo was poised to create something extraordinary.
